  • 1 kg beef
  • 2.5 cup dry red wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 piece of cinnamon
  • 15 white peppercorns
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 1 liter of water
  • Cooked pasta
  • Grated Halloumi


  • Make incisions in the roast and insert garlic cloves. Fry the meat on high heat until it is thoroughly browned all around. Add the peppercorns, bay leaves, cinnamon and water. Simmer until the meat is almost done.

    Then add the wine and cook down to a nice sauce. Cut the roast into slices and then pour half of the sauce over the sliced ​​roast and the rest of the cooked pasta, then stir in the grated Halloumi in the pasta.

    You can also serve fried potatoes with the roast.
